At the Ranch, we’re not just building bull riders—we’re shaping men and women of integrity, grit, and purpose.

Forged Ranch Bull Riding School

Our school is designed to develop both skill and character, with a deep commitment to connecting with each rider personally and helping them grow in their faith, confidence, and life direction.

We offer several junior and open schools throughout the year, welcoming riders of all levels—from beginners getting on their first steer to advanced athletes looking to cover their short round bull. Our livestock ranges from calves and gentle steers to high-level bulls, matched to each rider’s ability and goals. Every session is led by experienced instructors who prioritize safety, technique, and personalized coaching.

Days at Forged Ranch are long—but fulfilling.

We start each morning with a group workout, followed by breakfast and devotion/discussion time to center ourselves on what truly matters. Throughout the day, students will buck bulls multiple times, analyze their rides through video review, and sharpen their fundamentals with barrel work and horse drills. We wrap up each evening with a hot dinner and meaningful conversations that build both community and character.

Junior Schools

Our Junior School days are just as fulfilling as our open schools—specially designed to keep kids engaged, excited, and having fun while learning the fundamentals or sharpening advanced skills, depending on their experience. These day-only schools (no overnights) include snacks, drinks, and lunch, so riders stay fueled and focused.

We welcome and encourage parents to stay and watch! When families are involved, young riders are better able to apply what they’ve learned as they step into competition. It’s a rewarding experience for everyone.

Built for Young Riders

All of this is included in your school tuition, along with room and board in our fully stocked, comfortable bunkhouse. More than just a place to stay, it’s a space for rest, connection, and personal growth.

At Forged Ranch, we believe in shaping strong riders—but more importantly, strong people. Come ride with us, grow with us, and be part of something greater.

Food at the Bunkhouse: You Won’t Go Hungry

At our open schools, we make sure you’re well fed from sunup to sundown. Breakfast is flexible—choose from cereal, fruit, yogurt, or whip up your own eggs and toast. A couple mornings during the week, we’ll cook up a hot breakfast for everyone, complete with eggs, bacon, and pancakes.

Lunch is laid-back and self-serve. Whether it’s a sandwich, mac and cheese, leftovers, or whatever else is stocked in the bunkhouse, it’s all fair game.

Dinner is where we come together—meals are prepared for you and might include hearty favorites like lasagna, street tacos, or our famous grilled Bunkhouse Chicken with seasonal sides.

We provide plenty of water and basic drinks, but if you have a specific need—like soda or energy drinks—feel free to bring your own.

We make sure you’ve got everything you need to fuel your ride.
